What is a Bluetooth Parking Sign?
Traditional parking signs communicate parking rules to drivers, but they do not connect to digital parking systems. The Parkunload Bluetooth Parking Sign does both.
Each sign identifies a specific parking zone and connects it to the Parkunload platform through a unique zone code and Bluetooth technology.
When a driver approaches a smart parking zone, the Parkunload app can automatically detect the nearby zone and display the applicable parking conditions.
This creates a direct connection between the physical parking space and the city's digital parking management system.
How does the Bluetooth Parking Sign work?
Parkunload enables cities to turn any regulated parking zone into a smart parking zone with a Bluetooth-enabled parking sign.
Each Parkunload parking zone has a unique zone code associated with its parking rules. The Bluetooth sensor integrated into the sign broadcasts the zone's digital identity, allowing the Parkunload App to automatically detect the nearby parking zone when the driver approaches it.
Once the zone is identified, the app displays the applicable parking conditions and allows the driver to start the parking session digitally. The city's BackOffice manages the zone configuration and parking rules, while PKUN Control enables digital verification by enforcement agents.
